a wrimo is me!

hrmph. I didn't do nanowrimo. I never even started. In retrospect I just wasn't ready for it yet, had been too far out of the habit of writing and rasing the stakes made it worse. I'm hoping to do 2007, which will me more complicated now that I'm in grad school, but I think it will fall nicely between midterms and finals. And I have a laptop now, so participating in write-ins will actually be possible. But I think the key will be to start writing now, something, anything, just to get into the habit and feel comfortable enough to let myself spend time doing it. And hopefully I'll start coming up with some basic ideas about what to write about for nanowrimo '07.
